MODA-QUILT®, Flame Resistant Insulation is a composite fabric consisting of a fiber fill backing of inherently flame resistant modacrylic fiber and a face fabric of INDURA® Ultra Soft® or INDURA® flame resistant fabrics. These fabric have been over the past two decasdes as an interlining in combination with various FR outer fabrics for cold weather gear. It is designed to replace other insulating linings, which do not offer flame resistance characteristics such as polyester fiber fill.
